Adult Child to Parent Domestic Abuse Webinar

Central North West London NHS Trust are hosting a webinar event on Adult Child to Parent Domestic Abuse on Wednesday 27th August, 12:30–2:30pm.

This event is being held to shine a light on this often-overlooked form of domestic abuse which presents distinct challenges and risks, particularly due to the unique dynamics involved. As research and practice in this area continue to develop, it is crucial that we deepen our understanding and strengthen our practice responses to this form of domestic abuse.

At the event will involve the wonderful Michelle John, founder and director of PEGS who will be presenting on their recent report on adult child to parent domestic abuse and Equality Collabs who were recently commissioned by MOPAC to conduct a review into adult child to parent abuse, along with contributions from CNWL.

This webinar will provide a valuable opportunity to hear from leading voices in the field and explore how we can work together to improve support for families affected by this complex form of domestic abuse.
