Call for Parents and Carers to Take Part in Research
TONIC is working with Catch 22 and St Giles on a new research project for the Department for Education. TONIC are looking to speak with parents and carers of children who were involved in violence aged 18 or under between 2022 and 2025.
This research is completely voluntary and confidential. It’s a safe, judgment-free space where people can share their experiences in their own words. The aim is to better understand what helps or harms families affected by violence, and to make future support services stronger and more effective.
What’s involved?
- An informal 1–2-hour conversation at a time that works best for the individual
- Online, in-person, or by phone
- Participants can bring someone with them for support
- No right or wrong answers - TONIC want to listen and learn
The voices of parents and carers are vital. This is a real opportunity to help influence national policy and create better services for young people and families.
