Elder Abuse resource released to mark awareness day

Today (June 15th) marks World Elder Abuse Awareness Day, a day to raise awareness and put in place actions to reduce the impact of abuse directed towards older people across the world.

Given the number of older people sadly impacted by Child to Parent Abuse, PEGS has put together a resource highlighting some of the ways in which additional challenges faced by this section of society may open them up to specific types of CPA behaviours. The resource also summarises some key areas of research, and links to further reports, organisations and studies which may be of use to those wanting to find out more.
