What is restorative practice?

We recently spoke to Restorative Gloucestershire, a fantastic project working with individuals, families and communities to bring them together and work towards resolutions.
The work they do is known as Restorative Practice - part of which is Restorative Justice (focused on situations where a criminal act has occurred). Restorative Practice has a much wider remit and can be used in situations where there's been a conflict, ongoing problem, or breakdown of communication.
