PEGS Is Looking for Volunteer Service Advisors — Could That Be You?
PEGS is growing, and more families than ever are reaching out for support with Child to Parent Abuse (CPA). To meet that need, we’re building a team of Volunteer Service Advisors — compassionate, reliable people who want to make a real difference.
What You’ll Do:
As a Volunteer Service Advisor, you’ll be a vital first point of contact for parents and carers referred into our service. You’ll:
update them on their referral
explain the support PEGS can offer
provide reassurance at a time when they need it most
You’ll work from our Shrewsbury office on a rota basis, alongside our friendly, valuesled team.
What You’ll Bring:
You don’t need specialist experience — just empathy, good communication skills, and confidence using a phone, email, and basic computer tools. We’ll provide full training, supervision, and all the equipment you need.
Why It Matters:
Your time helps us reach more families, strengthen our service, and work toward a future where no parent or carer feels alone in what they’re experiencing.
If you’re passionate about supporting others and want to be part of a forwardthinking, livedexperienceled organisation, we’d love to hear from you.
Join us — and help change lives.
