1:1 Support
Our one-to-one support gives parents, carers and guardians the chance to speak regularly with a dedicated CPA practitioner. These sessions offer a safe, compassionate space to talk through what is happening at home, explore practical next steps, build confidence and feel supported without judgement. Where needed, this support may also include advocacy, such as helping parents navigate meetings with professionals.
This may help if you:
Feel like no one around you really understands
Want to hear from other parents with similar experiences
Need reassurance that you are not alone
Would benefit from a safe and supportive group space
*Please note, 1:1 Support is available in funded areas only, and these do change often. Please contact the team prior to making a referral.
Online Peer Support Group
Experiencing Child to Parent Abuse can feel incredibly isolating. Our peer support groups give parents, carers and guardians the chance to connect with others who truly understand what they are going through.
This is a private online monitored facebook group for those who have made a referral into us.
This may help if you:
Are feeling in crisis or close to crisis
Want practical tools to help manage difficult situations
Need support with communication and confidence
Would benefit from structured online sessions
Practitioner led sessions
Our practitioner led sessions offer a welcoming, supportive space for parental figures experiencing child to parent abuse. Facilitated by the PEGS team every weekday, these sessions provide regular opportunities to connect, be heard, and access guidance from practitioners who understand the complexities of CPA.
There are currently eight sessions available each week, including two evening sessions and a dedicated session for parental figures whose children are over 18, or who have limited or no contact with their adult child.
This may help if you:
You want support but are not sure where to start
You have questions you would like to ask
You need a regular space to check in
You prefer online support from home
You would benefit from speaking with practitioners who understand child to parent abuse
